When we have the courage to look at the beginning chapters of our story and see them from God’s perspective, we realize the ability we have to participate with Him in writing our next chapter.
My Story
My journey hasn’t always been the path that I saw or dreamed of for myself. I too have experienced life’s ups and downs. But along the way, I’ve seen the wisdom of looking at my circumstances through a lens that recognizes the paradox between suffering and comfort, light and dark, bitter and sweet. I believe God invites us all on a journey to find meaning, beauty, and joy in the hard places of our lives.
I’m a wife, a mama, and mimi to 3 beautiful grandchildren. I love cooking healthy meals, gardening, and creating beauty in and around my home. I enjoy walking in nature and spending time with friends and family around a good meal or a blazing fire. I enjoy bible study and learning more about the heart of God. I’m passionate about helping people just like you who want to feel better- people who want to pivot and reach their goals but aren’t sure how to get out of a rut, get moving or think about themselves or their situation in a healthier way.
I’m a deep thinker and a good listener with a soft heart. I photograph doors and windows when I travel because they remind me that the good life always includes open and shut doors. If your story has taken an unexpected turn or had an unexpected ending, consider that these could just be opportunities for new beginnings.
Experience and Education
Advanced Certificate in Life Coaching from the American Association of Christian Counselors
Certificate in Resiliency from the Seattle School of Theology
Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Science from California State Hayward
As a lifelong learner, I’m currently pursuing a certificate on the Gottman Method for Couples Therapy.
My approach to coaching is to provide a safe, collaborative environment where you can explore all aspects of yourself and learn about new tools that can change the way you see yourself and your circumstances.
I see the pain in our stories as the vehicle for growing resilience and finding true lasting joy. I love helping clients find purpose within their pain and make meaningful connections with the stories of their past to fulfill the hopes for their future. I help clients face fears, acknowledge the current struggles, and prepare for the growth and renewal that comes from the inevitable hardships of life. I believe every bump along our journey is an opportunity to grow in wisdom, love, and strength. It is my great privilege to walk alongside others to find the meaning and purpose in their own stories to live flourishing, hopeful lives.
Everyone has a story to tell, what is your story?
